Behind the Brand
The Arctic Tern travels farther than any creature on Earth. Soaring pole to pole and back again, every year, without fail. It does not wander, it migrates with precision, purpose, and with an almost impossible sense of exactly where it belongs. That is the kind of traveler Tern & Meridian is built for: people who do not just want to go somewhere, but to arrive somewhere that stays with them.
A meridian is the navigator's reference line, the invisible thread that orients you on the globe, the point from which all position is measured. Put the two together and you get the same tension that defines great expedition travel: wildness and precision. The bird that crosses oceans, the line that orders them.

Meet the Founder
I have always been drawn to the unknown, to the places that require a little more intention to reach and ask something of you once you get there. That pull has taken me from the wilderness of Alaska to the summit of a Guatemalan volcano at dawn, and eventually to the deck of an expedition vessel in Svalbard, watching polar bears drift across sea ice so remote it felt like the planet's last kept secret. Each experience taught me how extraordinary travel can actually be when it is done right.
Tern & Meridian is built around that belief. I started this company for travelers who feel that same pull toward wild places and living culture, who want to go somewhere that genuinely moves them and trust that every detail has been handled by someone who cares as much as they do. I have spent years guiding and planning trips through some of the most remarkable landscapes on Earth, and that experience lives in everything I design.
