How does the planning process work?

Everything starts with a conversation. We spend time getting to know you, where you want to go, how you like to travel, what you are hoping to feel when you get there. From there we get to work: researching, designing, and refining until the itinerary feels exactly right. You are involved as much or as little as you want to be throughout the process. By the time you leave, every detail has been handled and all that remains is to show up.
How far in advance should I start planning?

For most destinations, eight to twelve months gives us the room to do things properly, especially for peak travel seasons or places that require more lead time. That said, we have pulled together remarkable journeys on shorter notice when the timing is right. If you have a trip in mind, reach out sooner rather than later and we will let you know what is possible.
How is working with you different from booking on my own or through a big agency?

Travel insurance is booked separately on your own, but we consider it an essential part of any well planned trip. As part of the planning process we will walk you through the best options so you understand exactly what you are covered for before you go.
